Facilities Maintenance
The Utility Maintenance Division is responsible for the corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment at all water and wastewater facilities. This area also maintains thirty wastewater lift stations located throughout our service area. Process control and monitoring systems (SCADA) oversees the operation and performance of treatment facilities and pumping stations as required by North Carolina regulatory agencies.

The Utility Maintenance Division consists of ten facility plant mechanics, three of which are licensed electricians. Plant mechanics and electricians perform technical and skilled work in the repair and replacement of machinery and related equipment at the Water and Wastewater facilities and lift stations. The Water Treatment Plant is located on the corner of Falls Street and Long Avenue. The Long Creek WWTP is located off North New Hope Road on Old Spencer Mountain Road. The Crowders Creek WWTP is located off South 321 near the South Carolina state line. Cramerton WWTP is located on Eagle Road.
The Facility Maintenance Division also includes Grounds Maintenance Personnel who are responsible for the maintenance of over one hundred acres of property around the Water and Wastewater facilities. They also perform Landscaping duties, which add to the beautification program throughout the Two Rivers Utilities region.
