Water / Sewer Line Maintenance
Duties
The water section of Two Rivers Utilities is charged with the maintenance and construction of over 569 miles of all water distribution facilities, including over 24,400 water taps. Two Rivers Utilities is currently providing water services to the City of Gastonia and Town of Cramerton.
The sewer section of Two Rivers Utilities is responsible for the maintenance and construction of over 525 miles of sewer collection systems, including over 21,400 sewer taps. Two Rivers Utilities currently provides sewer service to the City of Gastonia and Town of Cramerton.

On a daily basis, we respond to citizens requests such as water leaks, sewer blockages, sewer odors, and damaged fire hydrants. We repair water leaks by prioritizing and repairing larger water leaks first. Large areas which will be without water are also repaired before a smaller water leak. Before any water leaks can be repaired a NC1Call number is requested. NC1Call will contact all underground utilities to locate their lines before we can repair Two Rivers Utilities underground lines.
